Be My Eyes

Be My Eyes connects users to sighted volunteers via live video call.

Be My Eyes is a free app for smartphones and tablets. It connects users who have blindness or low vision with sighted volunteers for visual assistance through a live video call. The volunteer can assist with visual descriptions to help navigate a certain task. The volunteer gains access to your camera through the app and can support you to differentiate between similar looking products, identify and read documents, ensure you are catching the right bus, and other visual tasks you might require some brief assistance with. Be My Eyes is available in over 150 countries and in over 180 languages.

Don’t feel like calling someone? Be My Eyes also has another feature called Be My AI, which offers similar services to the original app, but with descriptions powered through artificial intelligence. Be My AI is available for smartphones, tablets, and Windows computers.
