8 March - World Glaucoma Week

8 to 14 March - World Glaucoma Week.

Raising global awareness of glaucoma together

Did you know around half of all Australians with Glaucoma don't know they have it?

World Glaucoma Week raises awareness about the importance of early detection and treatment of glaucoma, as well as the incredible research into glaucoma management and treatment occurring around the world.

World Glaucoma Week encourages people to "think global, act local", bringing communities together to learn more about glaucoma and the experiences of those living with it. By raising awareness, we can work together to promote not only the importance of ongoing research, but also the existing support networks for those living with glaucoma beyond medical intervention.
