Practical, emotional and peer support services for Western Australians and Tasmanians with vision loss.

For over 100 years VisAbility has been providing practical, emotional and peer support services to Western Australians and Tasmanians with low or no vision. Their professional therapy and support services are available at any stage of life, in homes, at school, at work and in the community.

VisAbility professional therapists support people of all ages with blindness or vision impairment to remain independent at home, at school, at work and in the community. VisAbility focus on achieving outcomes, promoting mobility and independence and improving each person’s quality of life.

Therapies provided include assistive technology, dieticians, exercise physiology, occupational therapy, orientation and mobility, orthoptics, physiotherapy, psychology, speech pathology and social work. Services include accessible information, Guide Dogs, the VisAbility Library, the Community Activity Centre and training and workshops.
