iPhone accessibility features support
Support for navigating the accessibility features of your iPhone.

Summary
Many people in the low vision and blind community would agree that smartphones are one of the most important accessibility tools, often replacing or working alongside other assistive technologies to help with day-to-day functioning.
If you are an iPhone user, you may be familiar with the many built-in accessibility features that can allow you to use your phone in the way you want, with any level of vision; however, with so many different features available, it can be overwhelming to understand what combination of features would work best for you.
To assist with this, Apple has in-person and online support available to help you better understand the accessibility features available on your iPhone.
In-person Support
To receive in-person support at an Apple store near you, you can book an appointment through the Genius Bar by selecting your preferred Apple store and requesting accessibility support. At your appointment, you can receive support in trialling accessibility features and tailoring settings to your needs, checking compatibility with and setting up external assistive technology (like braille displays), and maintaining and updating your accessibility setup moving forward. You can also be connected to ongoing help (like online tutorials) if necessary. Make sure you bring your device, Apple ID login details, external assistive devices, and a list of specific issues to your appointment.
Online Support
To receive online accessibility support from Apple, you can:
- Visit their support page
- Select the device you are seeking support for
- Select accessibility as the support topic
- Browse the suggested articles for relevant topics or click ‘get more help’ and select either live chat support or phone support. You can also access phone support directly by calling Apple Accessibility Support on 1300 365 083.
SeeWay also has a library of video tutorials on unlocking different accessibility features on iPhone, Android and other smart devices. Check out our video library.
