Why SeeWay?

SeeWay is here to complement your clinical care with free resources and support for patients with low vision.

Around 70,000 Australians live with permanent moderate low vision - severe enough to impact their daily lives, but not severe enough to qualify for government-funded services. And this number is expected to grow significantly with Australia’s ageing population. SeeWay has created a space for people who previously fell through the gap in low vision care.

SeeWay, an initiative of Guide Dogs NSW/ACT, is Australia’s first national, holistic care online platform specifically designed for people with permanent low vision.

We offer a compassionate, empowering approach that complements clinical care and helps bridge the wellbeing gap for patients navigating all stages of vision loss.

SeeWay is free, national, and can support your low vision patients with:

No-gap (with GP referral) counselling ensuring patients can access qualified mental wellbeing professionals without financial barriers.

Digital literacy training To stay connected and confident on digital devices.

Information and resources curated and written to inform, not overwhelm. We offer practical, positive guidance for life with low vision.

SeeWay guides people through the emotional and practical challenges of low vision - from counselling and tech training to mindset and everyday life.

It's free and easy to access at SeeWay.com.au
